34th Holiday Fair--an all church project!

November 6th 9 AM till 4 PM

We are seeking a new person to head up Holiday Fair! Janet Gillies did a wonderful job last year of heading up the Holiday Fair but is unable to do it again this year, so we are looking for a volunteer to step up and take on this job. Most of those who take responsibility for sections of the fair—vendors, dining room, and the rest—have done it before or have the help of the previous job holder so it’s not like you have to know everything; just coordinate these tasks. Pat Domzalski will once again take on the job of getting vendors to fill the Fair with many wonderful handmade items. We need all of the church to become involved.

The only UMW events during the year are the Holiday Fair, the Women’s Retreat, and the Girls’ Night Out dinner, so, since we don’t ask for more of your time, please plan now to donate some hours to the fair. There is such a variety of activities that something will be interesting to you. You’ll honestly enjoy helping. There’s a great ambiance. Those with experience from past fairs make great teachers. We’d especially like to encourage our newer members and our men to join the fair crew. Fifteen percent of the money brought in by vendors goes to the fair but all the money from the dining room, bake sale and the handicrafts sold on the UMW tables goes to our mission causes. Now is a good time to be freezing berries for bake sale pies and beginning some craftwork, woodworking projects, sewing or needlework for the UMW tables. Come help us to have another wonderful fair!
